FAQ’s
-
Art licensing is a way to 'rent' artwork from an artist or designer for your own products or projects. You pay a licensing fee to use the design(s) under specific terms we agree upon together. Licensing options include non-exclusive or exclusive rights, giving you flexibility in how you use the design(s).

You can explore my latest designs by clicking on the Portfolio page. For a larger selection, feel free to email me at hi@anachi.design to request access to my full portfolio. Many of my designs are also available in my Spoonflower shop, where you’ll find a broader range of patterns.

Non-Exclusive License:
A non-exclusive license allows you to choose from my existing designs to be produced and sold in a specific category by your preferred printer. While you can use the design, it may also be licensed to other companies simultaneously, meaning the same design can be sold by multiple businesses. Additionally, the design will still be available on platforms like Spoonflower, where others can purchase it for various products like fabric or wallpaper.Exclusive License:
An exclusive license means you have the sole rights to use a specific design for your products in a designated category. The terms of the exclusive agreement are discussed and agreed upon before any design work begins. As the designer, I can still use the design for other purposes not outlined in our agreement, such as different product categories. For example, if you exclusively license a design for home décor, I can still license it for stationery or fashion accessories. At the end of the licensing term, you will have the first chance to renew your license. If you choose not to, the rights to the design will return to me. -
As the designer, I retain all copyright and ownership of the artwork and any derivative works at all times.
Buy-outs can be negotiated at a higher price.

Pricing is bespoke for each project and depends on various factors, which I review to create a tailored quote. Feel free to submit a Licensing Enquiry, and I’ll use the details provided to offer an accurate price for your project.

All pattern designs are supplied as high-resolution repeating tiles in .jpg format, typically at 3000x3000 px and 300 dpi. Files can be adjusted to CMYK or RGB, depending on your printer’s preference. If needed, I can also provide Pantone colour codes. For watercolour designs, I’ll supply the closest Pantone matches for your printer to reference.

Yes, I can provide layered artwork. Just let me know if your printer or manufacturer requires it.
