The Surface Design you are going to LOVE!
Choosing a surface design for your new collection can prove to be tricky. With the endless options on the market and time being so valuable, the risk to end up in a rabbit hole while exploring your options is pretty high. But I believe finding your next exciting and innovative design should be fun, not tiresome. So, here I am, giving you a go-to option for your Autumn collection, one that is versatile, playful, and rich.
So “mushroom” for your personal touch
This colour combination is so, so sweet!
It’s official: Mushrooms are a thing for a while now. And I don’t believe it’s only because of their incredibly adorable shape – although, sure, they look spectacular in any colour – but it’s also because of their nature.
Come to think about it, mushrooms grow in the most impossible places, with not much light needed, and mainly after rain. Survivors. Thrivers. Quite a symbol, don’t you think?
However, regardless of their nature, these fantasy-driven fungi tell a story of Autumn and warmth. Nearly magical, I’d say.
Watercolour mushroom surface design for fabric
Well, there was certainly nothing magical about the day I designed the mushroom patterns. I remember I just picked my brush and my colours and I slowly brought to life these cute yet mighty mushrooms. BUT I must say, the vast variety of products you can use this design on is indeed quite magical. I simulated some of the most popular home décor elements, such as sofa throw blankets and cushion covers and they look absolutely delicious!
What do you think?
I do see these fungi-inspired shapes on virtually any product – including plates and mugs or even vases. However, I do agree that using them more as a surface fabric design would bring it to its best potential.
Let the mushrooms sprout everywhere – including the walls, why not?
Uh, I even envisioned a whimsical version of the original design. For a surreal, even psychedelic effect, the Purple Mushrooms are the perfect addition to any room. The bold ones will surely appreciate it.
A surface textile design that can get addictive
Now, I use the word ”addictive” being completely aware of what it means. I tested this design – in both the watercolour and digital versions – on so many mockups, there isn’t one I don’t like, honestly. And it’s such a rabbit hole! I spent hours envisioning, twitching, and shifting them – such a joy!
This is where you can explore the whole range of Mushrooms. And please feel free to contact me if you have any other projects in mind. I’m more than happy to help!
